I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel in the stunning Douro Valley. The location was perfect, surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to the river. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations for local activities and making sure I got the most out of my time in the valley. The rooms were spacious and charming, with beautiful antique furniture that added a touch of traditional Portuguese style. The breakfast spread had a wide variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone.
All was fantastic, no improvement needed.

Very nicely decorated Villa with an open, airy atmosphere. Christina and her staff were very attentive and responded positively to every request. There is no bar, but assorted beverages are available for purchase. Gps took us to a near-by alley, so look for the green doors in the masonry arch entrance as the sign for the Villa is very small and easily overlooked. The en-suite room was spotless, roomy and very comfortable. There was no tv in the room but one was available in the public living room. A nice continental breakfast was served family style on a large table-clothed dinning table. Weather was beautiful and so we didn't have a chance to evaluate the heat or air conditioning. Fresh drinking water was provided in the room each night. You will need a car to enjoy this wine country villa; plenty of free parking space. Dinner must be arranged in advance or drive several kilometers to the nearest restaurants.

It was one of the best places we have ever been. The house is situated in the magnificent area of the Douro Valley. Staff was very friendly and competitive. Internet/wifi connection was very good.
Monotonous breakfasts - however, quite big and tasteful.

Absolutely first-rate service and accommodations. Cristina, the owner, puts the interests and comfort of her guests first. The Casa is extremely well-kept (and well-designed) and the staff very solicitous. The rooms are large and comfortable. I lost my wallet in Pinhão and Cristina's staff succeeded in finding it and returning it, with everything in place. That's great service!

The accommodations were comfortable and perfectly clean. the staff was friendly and welcoming. the views from the property were stunning, with vineyards and rolling hills as far as the eye could see.
The Internet connection was very poor and intermittently so. we were disappointed with the lack of activities and things to do in the surrounding area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming and picturesque hotel in the beautiful Douro Valley, Portugal. This hidden gem surpassed all my expectations in terms of value for money, as well as attention to detail. The hotel's antique furniture added a touch of elegance and authenticity to the rooms, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast, which offered a variety of options to suit different tastes. Additionally, the hotel's central location proved to be advantageous, as they provided helpful itineraries that led me to explore the region's highlights through quiet back roads. It was a truly delightful experience.
All aspects of my stay were absolutely fine and met my expectations.

The room and bathroom were spacious and decorated with a beautiful antique style that made it feel like a museum. The location was key for exploring the area and had breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious, and we were able to enjoy it while taking in the spectacular scenery.
Although it was a peaceful and secure place to stay, the price seemed too high for what was offered. The lack of signposting made the place difficult to find, and the unspoken house rules were a bit uncomfortable.
